Mrs. Miles's class attempted to get themselves out of a tight situation. See how they did:

Working Together is the Only Way This Will Work

Mrs. McCain's class learned to "lean" on each other in order to master today's flyer time team building activity. Check it out:

Revving Up for Another Year

One thing that students and teachers look forward to each year is getting back into their flyer time classes. Students stay in the same flyer time class for the three years they are here, so it is always nice to see familiar faces on the first day and meet new 6 grade friends. Here are a few pictures of Ms. Struckhoff's flyer time class getting to know their new members and building team spirit.

Reading with Concord

This year in Flyer Time, students are given time to read for enjoyment. Coach Onder's flyer time used that time to read to others. They recorded themselves reading and sent the link to a Concord School classroom. You can watch the story here:

Pretty cool!

Growth Mindset and Interest Groups

Students are continuing to work on keeping themselves in the "growth" mindset rather than being in a "fixed" mindset. They are identifying fixed mindsets in themselves and others, and they are encouraging each other to try and continue pushing forward. Interest groups continue to be the highlight of the week for many students and staff. Look at all the fun stuff we are doing together!
