Agree, Disagree, Unsure

Ms. Argent, Ms. Darch, and Ms. McCarthy's flyer time classes participated in an activity where they chose if they agreed, disagreed, or were unsure about the statement that was read and then moved to that section of the room. They discussed the importance of listening to other people's opinions and accepting differences.

R-E-S-P-E-C-T

On Tuesday, students discussed what the character word of the month, respect, meant to them. They talked about what respect meant in their actions, words, and thinking. Many students worked together to fill out a graphic on the topic like the one pictured from Ms. Andrew's class below.

Getting to Know You... Getting to Know All About You (feel free to sing along)

This year, in order to get to know each other better, Flyer Time families made puzzle pieces that students decorated with information about themselves. The puzzle pieces were assembled and hung in the rooms. Many rooms were very creative!

Can you make puppies cuter?

For national adopt-a-dog weekend through Pets-mart, students in Mrs. Sears's flyer time family made bandannas for the adoptable dogs that were looking for their forever homes. Bandannas were given to local rescue shelters for their dogs. Students also had the opportunity to volunteer at local Pets-mart locations to help with adoptions. Way to go guys!
